Created by singer, songwriter, producer, artist Larkn (Kristen Mercado) out of a passion for art and music, BFHMUSIC specializes in most areas of music or that directly relate to professional performing music artists, such as artist development, songwriting, career guidance, approach and strategy, coaching, collaboration and production. We provide resources to growing, talented musicians and artists in a number of areas from consulting, to production to live event/performing opportunities with the goal of helping singer-songwriters, bands, artists, musicians, producers, beat-makers, rappers and songwriters build long-lasting, meaningful careers in the music business and organize live music events that feature predominantly local music, offer custom or original music for sync licensing, connect music talent and more! Songwriting is technically music and lyrics, but songwriters (and music fans) know that it is so much more than that. Great songs play a vital role in culture and in the lives of people, and they are also therapeutic to the artists making them. Sharing through lyrics is learning and healing. New, inspired music is refreshing so at Better From Here Music our goal is to have a far and penetrating reach. In past decades, great songs used to play a bigger role in modern society and Better From Here Music would like to cultivate resources to bring this important element of connectivity back to people's everyday lives.
